Ever since I started playing guitar at 13, I knew instantly that this was the path I had to follow. I caught the bug quickly and have since been perfecting my craft to the best of my ability. I’ve been playing professionally for 16 years and have performed in a variety of different bands throughout my musical career, each one offering me valuable experience in the music industry by allowing me to perform in a range of different venues with a vast array of musicians throughout the UK. My musical education began when I was 13. I got my first guitar and formed a band with some friends from school who shared the same passion as me. I was obsessed with Guns N’ Roses, it was literally the only thing I listened to for those first few years. Slash had a fluid style which made him stand out from other rock players, I didn’t realise until later on in my musical journey why Slash’s playing struck a chord with me. His bluesy phrasing and laid back fluidity is an aspect of guitar playing which would infect me to this day.
