Artist
Seamus was born in Southern Ireland and spent many years as a travelling musician playing in pubs all over England where there were Irish communities. He played purely for the love of music, Much of which he wrote himself and also with another artist PJ Murrihy. Sometimes they played together whist touring, Staying with friends whilst they 'worked an area' They were very popular in the northwest of England and their sessions were always well attended .Sadly Seamus's health has deteriorated and the last I heard He was living in London . Seamus & PJ recorded at Roseland Recording Studios Main Street Moate Co Westmeath they sold their own casettes at the pub sessions to give them a bit of of extra income. They also used to have a programme on one of the Irish radio stations User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
