Seal Clubbins is an avant-garde recording project of musicians Joe DeGroot, Steven Donahue, Daniel Salas, and Stephan Stanton. Although the musicians live very far from each other (New Jersey, Texas, and England) they usually record every summer in New Jersey when Salas and Stanton are visiting. Taking influence from the band Supersilent, Seal Clubbins' music consists of long experimental pieces that are completely improvised by the musicians, who play a variety of instruments and other objects gathered for each recording session.
