Seabreather is a post-rock solo project by Quinn S. Over the course of two decades, Quinn S. led numerous bands as both primary songwriter and frontman in the Baltimore area. After the dissolution of his last band, he continued writing and recording as a solo artist for several years releasing a handful of albums, EPs, and singles under his own name. In late 2019, Quinn founded Loud Lines, opening a new chapter of his music career. After releasing a number of EPs and a debut album in 2020, he soon found himself writing more and more instrumental music, first exhibited on Loud Lines's There Is No Alone When There Is No One. After a scrapped commercial score, Quinn began writing and recording a handful of songs that were unlike anything he had written before: songs that stood on their own without any lyrics. Roughly two months later, he had completed writing, recording, producing, mixing, and mastering what would become Seabreather's debut full-length album, La Marea. Two more albums thus far have followed, Off A Bow Echo (2021) and Impermanence in Light (2022).
