Sea Mouse is the performing moniker & band of Seamus Johnson. Based in Wellington, New Zealand, the band was formed in 2017 with Thomas Friggens (drums), and Scott Maynard (bass). The debut self titled album was released in July 2017, notable singles including 'Churches in the Trenches' and 'Lie to Me' A style that can vary between the intensity of The White Stripes, Led Zeppelin, Wolfmother & The Black Keys and the more soft western ballads of Ryan Adams, Jason Isbell & Dan Auerbach Sea Mouse have supported international bands such as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. The band are currently recording a follow up to 2017s self titled album for near future release.
