Scylla's Reign Biography Welcome To The Wierd And Wonderful World Of Scylla's Reign, Where Nothing Is Really What It May Seem... Scylla's Reign was formed by Jack B and Ben in late November 2008 after roughly 2 months of not communicating due to what was at the time "Unreconcilable Differences", how it happened though was purely in a conversation at the time about their influences and how they had dreamt of nothing more than being able to not only pay their respects to their influences, but to hopefully influence more people into expressing theirselves via music, to connect with people on a personal level, and to do what they do best which is to entertain... So Jack asked Ben what he plays, and it just so happened to be Vocals and in turn Ben asked Jack B What he plays, and it also just so happened to be Guitar, Scylla's Reign was born. Shortly after, Ben had recruited Tom on Bass and shortly after between Jack B and Ben, they had recruited Rhys on Guitar and Jack R on Drums. Since forming they have wrote 10 original songs, and have covered 5 songs from some of their biggest influences (Stockholm Syndrome by Muse, Seek And Destroy by Metallica, Irresponsible Hate Anthem by Marilyn Manson, One X by Three Days Grace and Silent Night, Bodom Night by Children Of Bodom) and their musical styling can be called somewhat unique, due to blending Progressive Metal with Hardcore and Thrash Metal, to create their own genre being Progressive Thrashcore.
