Scrill, born DeAngelo Hatcher was raised in the tough streets of Highland Park, MI. DeAngelo turned to rap to cope with the difficult ghetto life. Sharpening his skills in writing and flow (rap rhyming) DeAngelo became know as Scrill. The moniker Scrill means money in street terms and was given to him by his friends that knew his rap style would land him a recording deal and soon Platinum sales. Junior and Scrill met while Scrill was perfoming at a battle session locally in the Detroit area. Junior immediately knew that Scrill was what he was looking for. After a brief discussion about the record label that Junior had created Scrill quickly joined the crew. Scrill began to assemble a team of rappers that now make up the Turbulence Crew.
