There are two bands with the same name. 1. Screwloose is a 'rock-n-roll' band bringing decades of music experience, combined with youthful energy and fun to create art that will stand the test of time and is fit for listeners of all ages and all walks of life. Good things take time and this band is no exception. After years of success playing together (but never quite reaching the heights they hoped for) in the band, “Flawless Design,” Jon Tobin, Patrick Lucas and Derek Rauh sought something more. That band eventually ran it's course and the three regrouped. The three seasoned professionals stayed in contact and a couple of years later met a young guitarist (Travis Presley) that seemed to be exactly what they were missing. Jump ahead a few months in the story and the quartet have found a new sound, renewed passion and stand on the verge of releasing their first full-length album, slated for release in fall of 2013. The first single, “Rooted Down” is a re-working of a song from the Flawless Design era and can be heard on this site now. It showcases the riffs, grooves, execution and energy that listeners will soon come to know and love as more of the album becomes available.
