Screen Prints were a Manchester, UK based indie pop collective operating and recording on 4 track tape between 1998 and 2001. They released singles on Track & Field (UK), Earworm (UK) and Motorway records (Japan). The late John Peel seemed particularly enamoured with the 'Her name I dont remember" 7" single playing it on his show twice. There various singles and releases plus other tracks was compiled on the 'Perfect City" CD album on Earworm records Screen Prints members at various times: Richard Farnell, Justin Hughes, Declan Meehan, Alun Jones, Jamie Rice, Chris Jones, Genevieve and Semay, Lynne Davidson, Ruben Crowther, Louise Simms and Steven Miles. Screen Prints core members of Justin Hughes & Declan Meehan have occassionally recorded tracks for tribute compilations to Donovan and the Magnetic Fields since 2001 and recent activity on their myspace site suggests they are currently working on new material.
