His brief time in Sarasota, Florida was coming to a close so he went with what he knows best: Leaving shit behind, packing up his truck and hitting the road. Robby spent three months traveling, living in his truck and performing anywhere he could to put gas in the tank and keep on moving. After a couple shows in Atlanta he decided to hit the highway again. Four hours later he landed in Charlotte, NC. Robby formed a musical alliance with North Carolina veteran musician Joshua Taddeo and recruited him on drums. Scowl Brow was born. The band quickly released a 6-song demo followed by a self titled 12-song full length and gained a cult following in Charlotte, NC. After dealing with lineup changes with multiple bassists, Scowl Brow recruited Justin Driscoll. Another veteran North Carolina musician that would officially fill the role of bassist. With a three-piece lineup solidified, Scowl Brow pushed onwards independently releasing the Born Again EP in 2014 and hitting the road to continue growing their following throughout the southeastern United States. In 2016 the band caught the attention of North Carolina based record label Refresh Records. Scowl Brow and Refresh created an alliance that would ultimately breathe new life into that 12-song full
