According to one reviewer, Science Ninja Team come on like a cross between Nitzer Ebb and Joy Division. The band themselves would prefer a slightly less gloomy comparison. The band has an ever-shifting lineup concentrated around the charismatic frontman Inigo Montoya (AKA Steve Cake), bassist Matty Ash and techno-boy Andy B. They are based in Brighton, on the windy English coast. They are currently in hiatus awaiting a signal to recommence from an enigmatic entity residing in the Great Magellanic Cloud. Science Ninja Team is also the name of a hip hop group out of Illinois. They are Mazinger-Z, Combattler V and Gaiking. More info at www.myspace.com/mazandcoms.
