Schemm is American music producer Colby Schemm. He is inspired by the instrumental rock of Joe Satriani and Eric Johnson, the contemporary pop amalgamation of Jon Bellion and the vocal technique of Justin Bieber, the lyricism of Kendrick Lamar, the production style of ILLENIUM and ODESZA, and the spiritual depth of Andy Mineo & Jon Foreman. As a producer, he leans into more pop, hip-hop, and electronic sensibilities. But as a guitarist, he draws heavily on that clean Stratocaster sound of John Mayer.
