Raised by 90's ambient/IDM, electronica and breakcore music, Schematic Wizard is a french electronic producer active since 2010. Initially gravitating close to the chiptunes scene, he is now focused on modular synthesis and complex networks of machines interacting one with another, bringing his mind and soul at the service of objects sometimes criticized for no having any. Juggling with the numeric distortions from the glitch culture, TV scanlines, Minitel pseudo-pixels and the warmth of retro films and magnetic tapes, he shares his love for the technological emergence of the 80's/90's through visual, sound and sometimes interactive digital art. His evolving musical genre finds it's roots in the video game soundtracks and the search for nostalgia, contrasting with a permanent deconstruction of rhythms, textures and patterns. Engineer and discrete producer, he lives in Paris where he collaborates with various collectives like Null.part (he co-created with friends in 2017) and RiCO (modular synth community in Paris).
