Artist
Schaumboch's Ghosts are a now-defunct folk group from eastern Pennsylvania. The group included Eric Wisser (banjo and vocals), Seth Danielson (clawhammer banjo/vocals), and Scott Wilt (guitar and vocals), as well as several other artists, including Dennis Strong on upright bass and John Koester on fiddle, who came and went. There are only two known surviving recordings of the Ghosts, one from a recording session and the other from a live performance at the Uptown Espresso Bar in Kutztown, PA. Schaumboch's Ghosts were named after Schaumboch, a man who lived on Hawk Mountain and who is supposed to have killed a number of people after treating them to his stash of moonshine.
