There are two different bands with this name. 1. Scav is a black thrash band from the ruins of Philadelphia. 2. Scav is a Sludge/Doom band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. "formed in 2025 and heavily influenced by names such as Acid Bath, Alice in Chains, Black Sabbath, Candlemass, Crowbar, Eyehategod, and Lamb of God. The band consists of Balthazar on vocals, Donato on guitar, Diego on guitar and bass, and Paulo on drums. They also feature Pneira as a guest musician for live shows. Scav sets out to address everyday issues such as questioning reality, the conflicts of human existence, and, above all, the act of existing within hostile environments and the wear they impose. If fate condemns us to remain trapped in a continuous tragedy, perhaps there is still life — something ethereal — in the act of existing, even when we already know the end."
