Two former members of Slovak rocknroll band ATF (Majkl - lead vocals, Undy - lead guitar) desired to start a project with heavier riffs and complex sound. Majkl put off rhythm guitar and in summer 2007 they picked up new rhythm guitarist - Chili. Formation has given itself name "Scarlet Preach". Scarlet refering to "Scarlet Letter" in meaning of (sexual) sin and Preach to highlight importance of band’s lyrics in the way of public speech. In november 2007 a new drummer, Dominik, joined the band. Band played several covers on few private parties and became more confident. Majkl’s and Undy’s former band ATF was split up in December 2007 so they’ve decided to pick up ATF’s bassist BGB in January 2008. First full band gig was on 19th of January 2008. During 2008 band has performed several gigs in Slovakia mainly in Bratislava and Nitra and was able to to establish a playlist of 9 songs of their own. Unfortunately, in december 2008, band’s rhythm guitarist and minor songwriter Chili announced his departure from the band and music scene. Band was looking for a suitable replacement and in March 2009 band members decided to take on a new rhythm guitarist -Tomas. The band has finished recording of EP "Life Without The Glitter".
