about

Scarduff Sixpäck were based in Middle Finland, conceived originally as a liminal jamming monster sewn together from humans comprising a mixture of nationalities and backgrounds in 2009 (FIN, UK, CAN, ARG). Alex Reed and Jukka Nousiainen went on from this band to form Räjäyttäjät in 2011. A C20 cassette of their earliest work was released in February 2010 by Taping The Hiss Records, and a CDr release on the '267 Lattajjaa' label was released 2 months later. Having cancelled their 'SALO' tour, after bassist Tukka Pervo went missing in action at the end of that summer, there were plans to tour all places in Finland ending in 'KOSKI' by 2011... but something better fortunately came up. Scarduff 6päck, who also had the unwieldy moniker of SD6P (which takes about as long to say as the full name), are now believed to be one of the most significant bands to have contributed to the genre that has become known as LAMATROLL.
