Savant of String's light and airy tunes, soft blues melodies and calming rhythms are the work of an independent one-man band from San Diego. Consisting of instrumental-only music composed entirely with guitars, Savant of String's music has remained relatively obscure, listened to by a total of approximately six people wordlwide. With simple chord progressions drawn from blues and country roots, improvised embellishments and extensive use of reverb and layering, Savant of String creates a deep sound that is best enjoyed in the comfort of soft, dark places and calm atmospheres.
