ODAMURA Satsuki (Satsuki Odamura) is a master of the Koto and representative of the Sawai International Koto School. She has been a pioneer in introducing this instrument to audiences outside Japan. Satsuki often collaborates with a wide range of musicians in a variety of styles; Jazz flautist Jim Denley, saxophonist Sandy Evans, sarod virtuoso Ashok Roy, the Slivanje and Nadoya cross-cultural ensemble, the percussion ensemble Synergy, and with several orchestras.
