saritote; we move forward... A 3 piece progressive rock band from Osaka. Members are: Kubo - gt/vo Gavin - ba/ch Teccha - dr/ch Formed in roughly 2007 the lineup originally included Masaharu on bass. After recording the first two demos Masaharu left amicably due to time constraints in Dec 2009. The remaining members continued to play street shows. It was there that they met Gavin in Feb 2010, who later joined to replace Masaharu. As of May 2010 saritote; is playing shows around Osaka to promote their demo as well as writing songs for their next EP. Musically their progressive/indie rock style focuses on putting down a solid melody and then wrapping intricate instrumentation around it. This leads to songs that are enjoyable on the first listen, but get better on the 2nd or 3rd as more of the nuanced composition becomes apparent. As is the case with a number of bands, the intensity of their live performance may not translate in the recording if you haven't seen them in person. Despite the mountains and valleys in volume and intensity these guys play pretty hard! Go see 'em!
