Artist
Former member of Glorybox . Her first soloalbum ‘Stars and Haze’ was released on Copenhagen Records in 2005. Recorded with Christian Hjelm as Lucky Moon in 2016. After five years of ploughing the roads of Europe, America and Asia with the indie rock band Glorybox, Sarah Hepburn laid her electric guitar to one side, and picked up her roots. Her solo project was in the making since her very first attempts at playing Beatles songs in her bedroom. A project that draws on many different influences including Nick Drake, The Velvet Underground & Nico's (chelsea girl era), and a more contemporary Elliott Smith. Recorded in Cornwall and Copenhagen with Neil Halstead and members of Mojave 3 lending a welcome hand the songs have taken on the atmospheres of the windswept beaches, the headlands, the winding roads of Cornwall, the friends and familiarity of Copenhagen, all seen through an Americans eyes with flashes of nostalgia to home comforts and stories to tell of growing up in Chicago. The blend of background and backdrops creates a thick tapestry that weaves through every song leaving a depth in them un-encountered by most artists. These are timeless songs, written over the years, collected on tape and
