Sarah Downen hails from St. Charles, Missouri. Born in the Spring of 1992, she was exposed to a wide variety of music from a young age, and soon learned the piano and guitar. Becoming bored of the trite songs from countless songbooks, she began writing her own music and lyrics around the age of 13. She now plays shows around the St. Louis area as often as she can, including various open mic venues. She is now making music as "Sarah Rose."
