Sara Al Hani is a young Lebanese singer. She was born in 1986, in Kuwait, and is one of the Arab world's youngest professional vocalists. Sara started singing at the age of 5 years, and started performing in concerts as at the age of six. She was raised up in a very talented and musical family, who cared a great deal about oriental & classical music, listening always to the great old Arab singers such as Um Kolthoum, Asmahan (whom Sara is related to), Farid Al-Atrache, Wadih Safi, Fairuz, Abdel Halim Hafez, and Mohammed Abdel Wahab. At a very young age, and as an exceptional case, Sara was granted a scholarship from Dr. Walid Ghulmiyeh, to study music at the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music and graduated after 6 years of studies, at the age of 16 as the youngest student that had ever joined this academy. Countless musicians have praised Sara Al Hani a great deal in the Arab world, and she is considered on of the most promising young voices. Wadih Al Safi, Dr. Ammar Sherei'i, Robert Safadi (owner of the biggest Arabic Music Library in the Arab World), and many more have spoken of her talent. At the age of 14, she performed in the very popular Music competition Show "STUDIO AL-FAN”, directed by Simon Asmar known as "the Star Maker". Sara won the first rank on the category of the Oriental Female singers, & got the highest grades in the history of this show, that has been launching stars since rhw 1980s.
