Catalan indie pop band from Barcelona born in 1998. Oriol Canals (vocals), Ricky Falkner (bass, choirs) and Xavier Molero (drums) started the project. After several changes in their line-up, the band established in 2002 after Gonçal Planas (guitar) and Pablo Garrido (lead guitar) joined Sanpedro. Sanpedro won Sona 9 Award for the Best New Act in 2002 and their debut album was released in 2003, 'La porta estreta'. In the spring of 2007 their second album was released, 'L'atracció monumental'. Mojave 3, Elliot Smith, Wilco, Sparklehorse or I Am Kloot are among their influences.
