Sanfranzernsdorf Soundsystem (SFZ) is an upcoming Hip Hop Band from Germany with roots in the southern outskirt of Berlin. Sanfranzernsdorf Soundsystem was founded in November 2000 by Björn C. Klenke (aka MC Premium), Björn Ruhland (aka MC Pero) & Tibor Banvölgyi (aka DJ Tibor) in a village called Zernsdorf (southerly of Berlin). The name of the band relates directly to the name of the village and is an amalgamation of that village name “Zernsdorf” and “San Francisco”. Their lyrics are stories taken from real life, fair and square. Emotional as well as sociocritical. So they became local heroes and they always surprise with fresh and funky beats. In 2005 was the debut release (“Jeden Tag”). All the time they perform local gigs, especially the last years in clubs or at festivals, also across Germany (e.g. Erfurt and Jena). Sanfranzernsdorf Soundsystem are currently supported by other MC´s and singers (e.g. MC Fastaman). SFZ released their second album “Hören und Verstehen” which proves their further development as a band.
