To redefine music is not only a possibility, it is the sole purpose, passion, and heart of Solo Artist Samuel Castilla. Inspired by the likes of Steve Vai, Dream Theater, Switchfoot, Radiohead, and countless more, Castilla has created a distinctive sound he hopes will captivate listeners. Self taught on the drums at the age of 8, Castilla became somewhat anxious to expand his musical boundaries. Since then, he enjoys playing the Guitar, Piano, Bass, and anything else that has noisemaking capabilities. Castilla writes, arranges, performs, and produces every aspect of what you are hearing at this site. With a debut album just around the corner, he remains busy writing lyrics, and recording vocal tracks at his home in Portland, Oregon.
