Shinji Hosoe (Born February 28th 1967 to Hot Springs in Gero , Gifu Prefecture , Japan) is a composer and music producer of video games, it is the source of the soundtracks of Ridge Racer , Xenosaga 2 or Dragon Spirit and its sequel Dragon Saber . It was during his college years that Shinji Hosoe is a passion for music, he began playing the synthesizer and later played in a "copy band" since the middle 80s, he joined Namco in time where he worked that tester but he soon changed his position in favor of creating sound and music, his first musical work is Dragon Spirit in 1987, during this period, he met other colleagues as Ayako Saso , Takayuki Aihara and Nobuyoshi Sano which collapses often with him in 1995, he and some colleagues left Sega to join the studio Arika , they will create the soundtracks of Street Fighter EX and Bushido Blade. In 2000, he created his own box Super Sweep, Inc. which he is director and at the same time, became a freelance composer, with other musicians with whom he collaborated for several years. Shinji Hosoe is very influenced by music Techno and Rave 90s, soundtracks such as the first Ridge Racer or compilations Sampling Masters are very representative of these types, other games like Street Fighter EX or Ibara show influences more rock and synthpop.
