Sam Coenen a.k.a Sammy Malary Dutch, (6th May 1998) Sammy Malary is a Dutch artist and singer-songwriter. Malary’s layered songs focus on socially engaged topics. She is very passionate about alternative, queer and fun open-minded communities. She uses music to tackle socially engaged topics like gender, sensuality and mental health. Inspired by Lana Del Rey, Lorde, Florence + The Machine, Charlie Straw, Enya & Ben Platt, Malary combines melancholy and hope with calm chamber pop. During the summer of 2020, it was time to start singing and writing songs which eventually lead to the debut album: Fantastic Abyss Varying from cinematic orchestral compositions to alternative music, dreamy pop songs, Malary invites you to her journey.
