With a powerful and sultry signature vocal, singer/songwriter Sammy Allen is a natural born performer who has been compared to the likes of Pat Benatar, Kelly Clarkson and Heart. Originally from Virginia, Sammy grew up in a musical family and was exposed to music at a very young age. She moved to New York City in pursuit of a vocal career, landing work as a singing bartender in a popular East Village karaoke lounge. But it wasn't until a trip to Los Angeles - where she was introduced to Josh Paul of Daughtry and Scott Ueda of Glitch - when things began to take shape. Sammy relocated to sunny Southern California and the trio formed the popular LA band, Seven Stitches. The group drew big crowds and received critical praise, winning awards for Best Female Vocal, Song of the Year and Best Rock Band at the All Access music awards. Soon after, Sammy began recording her debut solo project.
