Sam Littlemore, also known as Sam La More, is an Australian record producer and recording artist working in Hollywood, Sydney and London. Sam is best known for Tonite Only and his production work with Nellee Hooper and Gwen Stefani, including Gwen's debut solo hit "What You Waiting For?" from Love. Angel. Music. Baby. (2004).[1] His production work with Rick Nowels can be heard on Nelly Furtado's album Loose (2006). Sam has also lent his Tonite Only sound to the theme for the seminal eponymous London Electroclash party Return to New York by Arthur Baker and Princess Superstar. Prior to producing pop music, Sam worked with Darren Emerson (Underworld), producing and co-producing for his label Underwater Records. This partnership resulted in Underwater releasing Sam's world-wide club smash Takin' Hold (Underwater Records, 2003) topping the Buzz, Cool Cuts and Hype Charts in the UK, helping to propel Underwater Records to "Label of The Year 2003" (DJ Mag). He has also produced and remixed artists including Miami Horror, Pnau, Bag Raiders, Empire of the Sun, Kaskade, Freestylers, Sneaky Sound System, Gus Gus, TV Rock, The Similou, Lovers Electric, P. Diddy / Kelis, Cassidy, Ladytron, The Doors, Black Eyed Peas, ESG, Mutiny, Robbie Williams, The Veronicas,Random House Project / Robert Owens, Percy Filth, Slo Blow, Teenager.
