Sally Doherty is a unique artist. After her many releases with her band The Sumacs she has now formed her new project ‘Electric Butterfly’ which is a collaboration with producer Colin Elliot (long-time producer and arranger with Richard Hawley). ‘Electric Butterfly’ has been released as a digital download on iTunes and is a truly beautiful piece of work. She also worked with Richard Hawley, singing on his album ‘Lady’s Bridge’. She has been involved with quite a few different artists of different styles including Italian band Planet Funk with whom she wrote some songs for two of their albums. She also has a Latin Jazz Quartet who have released two albums.
