Sajnosbatár is a hungarian band and was founded in Szentendre in 1994. Band members are: Enikő Szabó - vocals, tenorsaxophone János Könczöl - guitars, vocals, lyrics Balázs Cserkúthy - bassguitar Zoltán Aknay - drums Their music is based on classic rock instruments and saxophone. Till they didn’t write own songs, they set poems of well-known hungarian poets to music. The lyrics are mostly raw, ironic or obscene, and musically tend to be rock with a bit of progressivity, or sometimes pop.They prefer to give concerts, than being in studio.
