"Hailing from Porto, Portugal; Saitam is tied down from by few genre labels outside of ambiance. With his debut EP, West - East, he enjoys taking instruments and sounds that are so easily prescribed to a genre and forcing them to become something else. In a sense this is music for breaking down boundaries, not just for moving on, but for moving at all. Saitam has called it electronic world music and there is no denying that. The sounds feel as if they're carrying the listener across the globe, touting every beautiful site our mother Earth has to offer."
