Sahra Featherstone is a multi-instrumentalist, performer, recording artist, studio-musician, private music instructor and visual artist, among other things. She performs on Celtic harp, violin, flute, and whistles. In 2003 she released her first solo album of original and traditional instrumental pieces, featuring herself on harp with guests including Don Ross, Brian Pickell and the late Oliver Schroer. Sahra engineered and co-produced her Celtic band Fig for a Kiss' album Fallen Leaf which was released in 2006 and was nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award. She produced Kevin Hutchings' album Songs of William Blake, released in 2007, featuring his settings of poems from Blake's Songs of Innocence & Experience. Sahra regularly performs and records with numerous artists including her duo partner Jason Fowler, and she is currently working on Kevin Hutchings’ second album, and a new solo album of her own.
