Safe & Easy is an unsigned ska-reggae band from Idaho Falls, Idaho. Consisting of Jeff Bass (guitar and vocals), Mark Christensen (drums and vocals), Eric Bass (bass guitar and keyboard), and Joe Thiel (trombone and vocals), the group has created one self-produced and self-titled album. Their short biography is found on their myspace site (http://www.myspace.com/safeeasy): Mark and Jeff were bored around mid December so they called Devin on their respective phones and asked him if he wanted to jam and perhaps make a band. Devin said he would, right after he finished eating dinner. Once Devin was through and we were getting set up they figured they'd invite Joe over because he's way good at the trombone and a cool guy all around. They played a few shows and then Eric replaced Devin on the bass guitar. Since then, the band has played shows here and there, added Casey Kristofferson to the band, and released a full-length album.
