Sadie Sink is an American actress and singer from Brenham, Texas. She began acting at age seven in local theater productions and played the title role in Annie, from 2012β2014, and young Elizabeth II in The Audience on Broadway in 2015. In 2016, she made her film debut in the biographical sports drama Chuck. In 2017, she made her breakthrough role as Max in the Netflix series, Stranger Things, beginning in season 2. In 2021, she appeared in the horror film trilogy, Fear Street, and played the lead role in Taylor Swift's short film, All Too Well. Sink has also starred in Darren Aronofsky's 2022 psychological drama, The Whale, for which she received a Critics' Choice Movie Award nomination.
