‘There is only one word to describe the music of Sadie Fleming – beautiful’ (Beatplay). Sadie is an independent singer/songwriter based in Bristol, who, armed with her keyboard and acoustic guitar, has developed a reputation for her ‘haunting and enchanting’ (BSR) live shows. Sadie wrote, recorded, produced and self-released her debut album, Butterfly Wishes, in 2011. The album was recorded before Sadie had played her first gig, however she quickly became ‘one of the most promising artists around at the moment’ (Eve Williams). The album has received extensive radio play, as well as rave reviews as ‘a very well thought out album, filled with intelligent lyrics’ (Live Music Scene), 'an incandescent selection of music that sits somewhere between Regina Spektor and Alanis Morissette' (BSR) and ‘possibly the best local album of the year’ (Mark Venus Music). Sadie is now frequently found performing at local and national venues across the UK, with highlights including sets at Colston Hall, The Louisiana, Chapel Arts Centre, Cox's Yard, Brisfest, Sunrise Celebration, Bristol Folk Festival, Bath International Music Festival and At the End Festival. Along the way, Sadie has supported Johnny Coppin, Marc O’Reilly, Matt Woosey, Nigel Clark (Dodgy), Gaz Brookfield, Lonely Tourist, Atlum Schema, Pete Taylor and many, many other fantastic musicians....
