Based in Barcelona's Gràcia district, rumba catalana (Catalan rumba) band Sabor de Gràcia was started by Siscus (Antonio Carbonell) in 1994. Three years later, they released their first album, "Tots els colors", featuring a drawing by rumba catalana star Gato Pérez on the front cover, and which included a rumba version of Joan Manuel Serrat’s "Me’n vaig a peu". Their second release, "El mundo baila" (K-Industria, 2004), opened the door to an international tour of Venezuela, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Chicago, France and Belgium. They have just released their third album, "La cançó amb rumba" which includes Catalan cançó hits like Lluís Llach’s "Estaca", Joan Isaac’s "A Margalida" and Maria del Mar Bonet’s "Què volen aquesta gent".
