Real name : Kim Seong-hoon DOB : January 10, 1984 Debut : 2009 Background : established crew Freestyle Town SOOLj is considered the first and best freestyle rapper in Korea. He first really received attention after winning a rap battle contest held by a popular cable music channel in Korea. He then established a crew, “Freestyle Town”, in 2005 and has been touring the country for the following five years or so before his 2010 comeback. SOOLj is considered to be like a freestyle rap guru and has been holding seminars and rap battles. There were no other types of rap battles to compete with his, “Freestyle One”.
