Snakebite are a four piece heavy metal band from South-East London, offering up a heart-stopping cocktail of classic rock groove, hell-for-leather thrash and a seemingly endless torrent of gargantuan riffs. Armed with an obstreperous BEAST of a live show and a sound that rocks like a rampant rhinocerous, Snakebite pound out the kind of booze-fuelled, uncompromising and unapologetically GOOD TIME racket that will never be buffetted by the fickle winds of fashion. Originally formed in 2003 and having undergone a number of line-up changes since then, the band has now settled on a crack squad of elite heavy metal mercenaries, equal to the demands of even the most suicidal of missions. They have also racked up shows across this sceptered isle, were recently selected to play at WACKEN 2010 (!), performed a successful set at Bloodstock 2009 (on a bill featuring the likes of Carcass, Arch Enemy, Blind Guardian and Municipal Waste) and received national radio play, courtesy of Kerrang Radio! The well-recieved 6 track E.P "Never Grow" contains over half an hour of premium strength, home brewed audio carnage that is potent enough to eviscerate the very fabric of the space-time continuum. And best of all, it can be yours for a mere five of Her Majesty's sterling pounds! Snakebite's sights are now firmly set on spreading their (loud) message to the four corners of the globe and, ultimately, the rest of the universe!
