SMANDEM. is an R&B / jazz / folk collective based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Their bandname is a play on the British slang word 'mandem', which means something like group of friends or homies. That’s exactly what they are, a group of friends making music together, a mixture of R&B, jazz and folk music to be precise – full of energy. SMANDEM. is a group with a mission: “For us, jazz is a mixture of styles and cultures.
