SLOTHREAT is a Japanese metal/hybrid rock band from Tokyo. Members: Guitar: 孝哉 (Takaya) (Sailing Before The Wind → SLOTHREAT) Bass: SEKI Vocals: KAZ (KRONOS → LAST CALIX → SLOTHREAT) Guitar: 克哉 (Katsuya) (CodeRebirth → Misanthropist → SLOTHREAT) Former members: Drums: SHINYA (Support drummer from July 2019, joined in May 2020; left the band on August 30th 2025) (FEAR FROM THE HATE → INCEPTION OF GENOCIDE , AstoLights → SLOTHREAT; Serenity in murder support) The band was formed by Katsuya (Gt) in March 2019.In April 2019, the first mini album "Allium" was released digitally. On May 11, 2019, they held their first live performance at the event "Worlds Apart" at TSUTAYA O-Crest in Shibuya. "Daybreak" was released digitally in July 2019. In November 2019, the split CD "Artificial Light Valhalla" with Nekomanju was released exclusively at the venue. It included "Kuuta" from SLOTHREAT. May 2020: SHINYA (Dr) officially joins the band. In September 2020, the first full album "THEMIS" was released on the label "Wolves anchor DC" (by Ryo/ex-girugamesh). November 2021: Digital release of the single "Asymmetrical Harmony".
