Samira Brahmia shows her talent and sensitivity through her compositions that blend pop rock, chaabi, Celtic traditions and instruments of the Great Southern Algeria. She sings about love, freedom with its difficulties, the status of women, alternating between English French and Arabic. Born in the Doubs but high in the bright sunlight of Algiers, Samira Brahmia is a brilliant student.With her baccalaureate, she was accepted at Polytechnic, one of the largest schools in France. But the military is not at all to her liking and she prefers to continue studying economics. While following her university career, she became interested in music, even if nothing predisposes to become an artist. But it is a discovery and a fascination, which are more appropriate than statistical relationships between financial Markets. She went on stage in 1994 as a backing vocalist for Index, Algerian flagship group of the 90s, but cannot find anyone to help her interpret her personal songs.
