S.N.R.T.M. is a signalwave project by Moroccan vaporwave artist ab97, focusing on old Moroccan television samples and sounds. S.N.R.T.M. stands for "Société Nationale de Radiodiffusion et Télévision Marocaine" (Moroccan National Radio and Television Company), as well as being a portmanteau of SNRT (Société nationale de radiodiffusion et de télévision), the current public broadcaster of Morocco, and its former name, RTM (Radiodiffusion-Télévision Marocaine). ab97 has also stated that the name and concept behind S.N.R.T.M. was inspired by signalwave project I.C.M.A.S.A..
