S'ur is a Moscow indie rock quartet with male music and female vocals formed in 2004. A little bit of this, a little bit of that. Some violine and electronic stuff, more guitars and a lot of DRIVE! Fortunately, the musicians got together by chance through ads and Internet. And all of them appeared to have unusual and diverse music tastes, from U2 and Garbage to Tool, A Perfect Circle, Incubus and The Mars Volta. The intertwining of different musical passions and a desire to make its own masterpieces gave an unusual result. Songs are bilingual. The color is lilac. Band performs live with it's own hallcinogenic video background. Group started in 2004, played dozens of shows on big and small stages in both of russian capitals. TV and radio shows took place. Among them OKNA OTKROI, one of the biggest summer annual open-airs in St. Petersburg. In November 2005 the group participated in the Moscow tour of the international contest Global Battle of the Bands and though it didn't win, was noticed by the press and art people. The band has articles and intereviews in such popular music magazines as Afisha and Fuzz. Now SURREAL is: Kristina K - vocals, violin, Evgenyi - guitars, Serg Grinding - bass, Amor - drums.
