Sámán were a legendary Hungarian heavy metal band. Though they gained certain reputation during the 80's, the band could release no albums due to obvious political reasons. It was not until 2005 that a Sámán album with 10 re-recorded classic songs was released by Hammer Records Hungary. Though the songs were played by the original line-up (Zsolt Molics (Cool Head Clan) - vocals; Attila Wéber (Ossian) - guitar; Lajos Sárközi (Kalapács) - solo guitar; Tamás Árnyas (ex-Sámán) - solo guitar; István Beloberk (Kalapács) - bass; Balázs Hornyák (Cool Head Clan) - drums), the band was not reunited, no gigs and further albums were planned.
