Artist
Ryan Bazail is a guitarist, vocalist, and composer based in South Florida. Ryan picked up the guitar at the age of 14 inspired by the likes of Led Zeppelin and Iron Maiden but he quickly started to develop a taste for the more artful sides of Rock and Metal and he later formed a Progressive Metal band called Moss Troopers in the summer of 2019. However, in the midst of the Covid-19 lockdown which resulted in not being able to meet up with his bandmates to finish up their music, he began to write on his own. His first single, "In Her Eyes" was released in July 2020. A ballad, the song showcases Ryan's talent on the acoustic guitar. His next single, "The Professor" was written as a tribute to the late Neil Peart of Rush. This song shows off Ryan's shredding ability, as well as progressive metal riffs and tempo changes. His third single, "Our Love Lost' was released in August 2021. Clocking in at over 7 minutes in length, this is his most ambitious song to date, including distinct sections, heavily inspired by gothic prog. Around fall 2021, Ryan began getting into singer-songwriters, and he quickly became obsessed with the likes of Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, and Jeff Buckley to name a few. Ryan's writing began reflecting these influences, and in the calendar year 2022, his new original compositions "Elegy For The Underground Man", "Eden", "Lady Of The Night", "1209", and "For the Mourning", have become live staples in his sets at the local music club Davie Kava's open mic nigh
