There are at least two artists who operate under the moniker Ruud: 1. Ruud Benard (Breda, October 8, 1954), a contestant of the first season of the Dutch reality soap Big Brother (1999-2000), who released a single album in 2000. 2. Vidar Ruud, a Norwegian singer-songwriter, who released his debut album in 2014. He is influenced by John Mayer, Mark Knopfler, and Bruce Springsteen.
