Ruth Garbus (born 1981) is an American musician living in Brattleboro, VT. Primarily a songwriter and vocalist, Garbus has released a series of solo albums, EPs, and singles. In addition, she is a member of the groups Earth Flower and Gloyd. Known as the drummer and backing vocalist for trio Happy Birthday, she is the sister of tUnE-yArDs' Merrill Garbus. Her debut solo album, Rendezvous With Rama, was released in 2010. She was one-eighth of psych-folk Feathers, whose one and only album was released through Devendra Banhart’s Gnomonsong imprint in 2006.
