With music influences like Patsy Cline and Elvis, it's obvious why Rustie Blue crosses so many barriers. No matter what Rustie sings, her true blue country vocals are very much apparent! Her energetic stage performance and charismatic personality makes Blue a refreshing experience and somebody you won't forget! Rustie was born and raised in the Southeastern part of Ohio, U.S.A. She grew up surrounded by Country Music! Rustie comes from a large family; I guess you could say she has country in her blood! Rustie's grandmother was Lila Jane Travis; Being related to the Legendary Merle Travis may help explain some of Rustie's inherited talent! Her love for Country Music has lead her to many great things! Rustie has opened shows for great artists such has, Whisperin' Bill Anderson, Aaron Tippin, Daryle Singletary, Jeff Carson, Rhett Akins, and David Lee Murphy, and the list goes on and on. Rustie enjoyed much success with her debut album, "That Oughta Do It." The first single to be released from the album, I'm Dropping Tears," climbed to #7 on the Worldwide Mainstream Chart (for most played artist), in August 2001. Rustie's latest single, "Cloud Of Dust" hit the R&R Chart in December 2005 and was "picked" on the nationally syndicated show "After Midnite With Blair Garner' "Pick it or Flick it."
